*** Update: #3, Debbie, you won! Congratulations! ~Lyndi ***
(It's Day 5)
It’s trendy yet has an old-fashioned vibe. Old is new again.
Rose water is extracted from the purest of rose petals via steam. You may have seen rose water pop up as an ingredient as you browse blogs, view cooking shows, and stay on top of foodstuffs from around the world.
Rose water's light and delicate notes can be added to delicate French pastry glazes and creams or added to sugars. Often it is added to Middle Eastern, Indian, and Greek foods such as baklava or rice puddings. SeriousEats has an entire article devoted to rose water recipes.
It’s so foodie.
A lucky someone will be getting a bottle of finest quality Rose Water from Nielsen-Massey Vanillas.
Contest ends next Sunday, September 11th at midnight (CDT). I will pick a winner via randomizer.
Leave me a comment, preferably with your twitter or blog name to make it easy to contact you. If you don’t have either, that’s okay, leave your name (need help on how to leave a comment?)
