*** Update: #3, Debbie, you won! Congratulations! ~Lyndi ***
(It's Day 5)
Rose water.
It’s trendy yet has an old-fashioned
vibe. Old is new again.
Rose water is extracted from the purest of
rose petals via steam. You may have seen rose water pop up as an ingredient as you
browse blogs, view cooking shows, and stay on top of foodstuffs from around the
world.
Rose water's light and delicate notes can be added
to delicate French pastry glazes and creams or added to sugars. Often it is added to Middle Eastern,
Indian, and Greek foods such as baklava or rice puddings. SeriousEats has an entire article
devoted to rose water recipes.
It’s so foodie.

Eat well, my friends. Eat well.

Great giveaway! I want to start using rose water because I had an amazing lemonade drink at a Persian restaurant that used rose water. Would love to recreate it at home.
