 Time for another happy 3 years of blogging anniversary treat!

Welcome to Day 5 of nwafoodie’s annual anniversary week of giveaways.  Are you having fun yet?  Did you check out yesterday’s cookbook giveaway? I guarantee you want that book!

Today’s gift comes courtesy of one of my favorite retailers, Williams-Sonoma. The Williams-Sonoma store at the Pinnacle Promenade in Rogers is so honored to celebrate five years in Northwest Arkansas!  Whenever you are at the mall, it is well worth your time to pop in to check out what is new, learn a daily cooking technique or skill, or at the very least, check out the clearance table! 

Prize:

Two (2) lucky someone’s will be receiving a $25 gift certificate to use at the Rogers Williams-Sonoma store. 

Contest ends next Sunday, September 16th at noon (CDT).  I will pick a winner via randomizer.

  11. The Le Creuset section (always hoping something big will be on sale). A close second would be the sale section at the back...that's where I picked up my big ol' paella pan. (that's redundant because paella is actually the name of the pan, as I recall.)

  12. I'm a sucker for the seasonal/specialty baking pans. Like the Twinkie pan I bought, like, 12 years ago. I still haven't made a homemade Twinkie. :/

    1. You don't even have to be a "cooker" to love this store... there are wine glasses, glasses, plates, knives, coffee and tea pots, soaps and lotions, tableclothes, alllll types of food mixes, and well, just fun to browse, really. Also a great place for finding gifts!

  17. I love William Sonoma. Registered for my wedding 13 years ago and still adore my Brassiere dishes and gorgeous cookware -- better to buy well once I like to say. :-)

  21. I LOVE looking at the knives. I have total knife envy and I could look at them for hours. And the Le Cruset section...I want every single one of those. I just dream of the things I could chop and then cook if I had a Williams Sonoma at my disposal. lol

    1. Knife-envy = love it. Can you imagine if you had unlimited access to Williams Sonoma? You would probably have someone call the cops on your because of all the knives you would collect.

    1. Have you seen all of their cute design in the baking section? Sesame Street, etc. Also their cookbook section has gems throughout, like sandwiches and kids stuff.

  28. Le sigh. I love the cookbooks - like I need more of those. I'm also fond of some of the specialty items like vanilla paste or special sauces, and I love all the table settings. But, like Sathya, I have to go with the entire store. LURVE it!

    1. You're right, how have we not talked about the samples! Every day Williams Sonoma in the Pinnacle Promenade has some type of demonstration. Every Sunday they have a free cooking class! These two things means there always seems to be a sample of something on the stove. Or, there is always coffee to sampel.

    1. You know, the switch to All Clad skillets is totally worth it. I only have those and my cast iron and it is all I need. At first it was hard to get used to (always used one with a calphalon finish) but one I figured it out, I will never go back. Now I am working on my food-fipping skills.

  48. All the fun food stuff is my favorite. And, I'll admit, making fun of some of the kitchen tools. I have never felt the need, for instance, for a special tool to slice my avocado. :) (sewwriter @ gmail)
